Project Officer – Kay Andrews: I joined Butterfly Conservation in 2019, after carrying out butterfly and moth monitoring in my previous role with Ingleborough National Nature Reserve and becoming fascinated by Lepidoptera. I have always been passionate about the environment and studied Conservation Science at the University of Cumbria. I have volunteered and worked in a wide range of roles from researching Orca in British Columbia, Sea Turtles in Costa Rica and Dolphins in Wales; to closer to home projects including Trainee and Living Landscapes Assistant with the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
Getting out in the field and engaging with the public are the best elements of my work,
I am very excited to be taking on the Limestone Lepidoptera Project and getting to know some of you. See the Project page
