11:00 Prof Jane Hill (University of York) - Butterfly winners and losers from climate warming.
11:45 Nick Hall (Yorkshire Branch) – 30 years and still counting: trends in our less scarce species.
12:15 Lunch and voting in Photo competition with Tea & Coffee available
13:00 Michael Rogers (BC Northern England) - A summary of work this summer and future plans for Northern England.
13:30 Sam Newton (Branch Conservation Team N & E Yorkshire) – We must get back here in summer.
13:50 Tea & Coffee
14:20 Richard Tripp (Yorkshire Branch) - Roundhay Park Project - creating space for nature and inspiring others to do the same.
14:35 Outstanding Volunteer Awards for 2023 & Photo Competition winners, announced.

Photo Competition rules
There will be a photo competition on the day. No more than four photos to be entered by any one person. The images are to be printed no bigger than 10” x 8” (25.4cm x 20.3cm). On the back of each image please write your name.
Please hand the photos in when you arrive at the meeting.
Three competition classes:
(1) Butterflies - any life stage
(2) Moths – any life stage
(3) Butterflies and Moths from abroad.
The competition will be judged on the day by those in attendance and prizes will be awarded.
